Having already announced our stellar lineup of homegrown BC Spotlight films, we’re now thrilled to unveil our selection of Canadian Images features hailing from outside of our province’s borders. And what an array of films it is, featuring everything from remarkably ambitious multi-arc narratives to revealing documentaries to irreverent genre homages. Each and every one of them is proof positive that this has truly been a banner year for Canadian cinema.
Our previous Highlights, Galas and Special Presentations announcement featured the heavyweights of American cinema who’ll be heading to VIFF this year. Now, we’re excited to showcase fantastic performances from some of the States’ most intriguing actors, including Shailene Woodley, Jason Schwartzman, Elisabeth Moss and Vincent Kartheiser.
