Fresh off the 2014 Vancouver International Film Festival program, The Two Faces of January will be screening this October at the Vancity Theater at 1181 Seymour St. TICKETS.
Based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, whose other works include “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Strangers on a Train”(both of which have been adapted into acclaimed feature films), The Two Faces of January is a captivating and classy thriller starring Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen.
The movie tells the story of a glamorous couple (played by Dunst and Mortensen) from America traveling to the beautiful city of Athens. On their travels the two they meet a charming tour guide played by Oscar Isaac (lead actor from Inside Llewyn Davis, 2013). But not everything is as it seems as an incident puts all three on a suspenseful journey.
